From the swamps of Texas and Louisiana, the mountains of upstate New York, and the big city life of Chicago, I made it to the High Desert of Colorado, where I now call home. I've been married for 10 years, and after years of trying, am now a proud father to a 5 year old man. I started in sales in the trucking industry, in what seems like a lifetime ago. Was lucky enough to meet my first mentor in this mortgage sales role in 2003. From 2014-2019, I owned my own mortgage company, growing it from a brokerage to a mini-correspondent before moving that business to CrossCountry Mortgage. I have now re-emerged as President with Bear Mortgage, bring back our company in 2023! We are licensed in 10 states, a wholesale lender with mini-correspondent and brokering abilities, and a Certified Divorce Lending Professional. Over the years, and through a couple more mentors, was able to build a team that consistently closes over $100m in volume annually. As I continue to grow, I now spend a good portion of my time mentoring the future of the industry, recruiting new sales people and helping them become excellent, efficient, growth minded loan officers. At our branch, we have a clear framework of what our end result will look like in our LOs, teams, and how we will treat our clients.
