During a Computer Graphics class in my Senior Year of High School, I was taught by an amazing teacher who was the first person that really believed in my creative mindset and even helped me apply to art colleges.Realizing I wanted to stay close to home, I chose CCSU and they were the only state college that offered a Graphic Design program. By choosing a degree in Graphic Design I was able to meet peers and professors that I really fit in with. I always had a way of showing my artistic abilities but wasn't sure how to give it a title. This opened the door to my interest in not just Graphic Design but Marketing, Communications, and Art. Venturing into my first job out of college, I took a position with a strong need for Marketing and less Graphic Design. This pushed me in the best way to learn another side of being artistic that didn't focus on graphics but more on the message to put forward for the company.
