About Lindsay Williams

During my decade-long career in the music industry, I have been building and sharing brand stories that have had significant impact in increasing consumer awareness and expanding digital reach. I have developed innovative digital strategies and marketing plans for Billboard chart-topping albums, executed large-scale fan and influencer campaigns, and led the direction in the transformation of the Recording Academy's social channels, making the GRAMMY Awards telecast one of the top television social events. I was named to Billboard's Twitter 140: The Music Industry Characters You Need to Follow in 2011 and 2012. My work throughout my career has been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, Billboard, Mashable, Hypetrak, and more. I pride myself on being a passionate, hard working, and creative individual. I naturally gravitate to leadership roles and mentoring individuals who have a hunger to learn and grow. I get excited about well executed brand strategies and campaign launches as well as finding opportunities for new technologies. As much experience as I have, it is more important for me to always be a student; learning, expanding, and open to new ideas.I currently work at Universal Music Group's catalog division, Universal Music Enterprises. I started as the VP of Marketing where I oversaw Audience Growth and have since transitioned to SVP of Marketing. Our team works on campaigns from Beatles, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Bee Gees, Go-Go's, Katy Perry, Bob Marley, and many more. In addition to my work at UMG, I started Be Digable five years ago with the goal of elevating women's voices in business.
