I an experienced professional in human resource management, auditing, and general office management. In the area of human resource and office management, I am responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing policies and programs all aspects of human resources including employment, compensation, training, placement, staff planning and development, benefits, employee relations, and equal opportunity and affirmative action programs. In addition, I help companies stay current on changing government regulations that affect employer-employee relations and workplace conditions. I have a great deal of experience in public speaking and course training. I am also the author of 'Hattie's Ghost.'

As an auditor in the accounting department, I audited on a daily basis all departments for the casino which included hotel, food and beverage, slot and gaming, gift shop and service station. This required constant problem solving and investigation into auditing errors. It also required an extensive knowledge of Nevada State Gaming Regulations and how it affects the auditing process.Before my promotion to the auditor position, I was a Players Club Representative. My duties encompass heavy customer contact with our patrons including tactful problem solving and accurate maintaining and distribution of our Complimentary Benefits and Cash Back programs. As the first point of contact for our valued patrons, I managed the varied promotions offered and I provided value-added information for the area’s attractions including Lake Mead Recreation Area and Hoover Dam, directing our guests to appropriate venues for their entertainment needs.

As the head of human resources, I was responsible for all aspects of the human resource department and served as the payroll administrator for 100 employees. In addition to payroll preparation, I handled all workman’s compensation issues, quarterly and annual tax reports, employee benefit administration, payroll related work order billing, and health and safety committee organization and implementation. I processed newly hired employees, maintained employee files and employee’s vacation records using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. I handled all the advertising for our help wanted as well as our real estate interests, and did property management of our employee housing. I administered the International Employee Program, which included screening and hiring of international employees, arranging for their transport to the United States and coordinating appropriate accommodations. Lastly, I wrote the monthly newsletter.

I own and operate Rose Mining and Investments, specializing in assessing mining properties ideal for investment. I performed research on delinquent tax properties, advised my investors of ongoing and new investment opportunities and was responsible for acquiring properties for my clients. I monitored the changing mining property market and conducted tax investment seminars.

As the Visitor Center Coordinator, I enjoyed constant customer contact and public relations work between our Chamber of Commerce, Chamber members, and our traveling visitors. I managed a small staff and a volunteer staff of ten. I attended the board of directors meetings as a representative of the Visitor Center and I coordinated information between the Visitor Center, the U.S. Park Service, and the U.S. Forest Service. I did vacation planning for our guests as well as wedding planning and family reunions. I maintained regular communication with local press in order to keep them apprised of the Visitor Center’s ongoing activities.

My duties included sales of telephone services and equipment, collections of outstanding debt, and intensive problem solving. I handled all their billing problems as well as all the investigation of their long distance fraud claims. I wrote, implemented, and trained company employees in other cities on the procedures for handling such claims. I transferred to the Accounting Department where I continued working on billing problems solutions.In the Public Service area, I organized and dispatched installers for a five state area. Then I became the payroll administrator for our personnel, which included payroll submitting and accuracy, and maintaining vacation records. I created and executed training seminars on the payroll process and changes. This required an extensive knowledge of CWA Union and IBEW contracts. Lastly, I was the United Way fundraising coordinator for our Public Services Department.
