With limited resources at the foundation, my work concentrated on both service and user experience design. I helped our internal management, such as the Information Security Manager, on receiving buy-in on their processes. By using high level artifacts such as personas, paper & digital prototypes, etc. to visualize insights, I helped employees understand the why behind the reasoning for processes.

I specialized in Math and English tutoring for high school and college students. I developed individualized study plans to benchmark development, ensure accountability, and made learning fun. We began conversations with hesitant broken sentences in English and Chinese. After four short months of tutoring, word games, and movies, we were able to conduct conversations in English. The most gratifying feeling was watching his confidence develop.
