My primary role is:• Strategic, organizational and communication support and sparring: Play a key role in change management and communications supporting head of Personal Customers DKs role, key interest areas and the overall strategy.• Contributing in strategic and cross-functional projects: Working in close interaction with relevant internal stakeholders. Based on corporate insights and knowledge ensure projects develop in line with and contribute to the overall strategy and objectives.• Management Support: Responsible for ensuring an efficient meeting structure in Personal Customers DK leadership team, assist and solve ad hoc tasks related to Personal Customers DK.

I was head of Management Support, which consisted of a consultant, a secretary and myself. I primarily acted as sounding board to the head of Retail Banking DK (RBDK). I also assisted in prioritization to keep focus on the most important tasks and challenges and proactively raised and solved problems with little supervision and guidance. I carried out ad hoc responsibilities as project manager and drafted resolutions. Examples: Management conference for 250+ managers, dimensioning of the branch network and plan for and execute organizational changes. In supporting the head of RBDK I acquainted myself with the materials for his meetings to act as sounding board, research raised issues if needed, participate when relevant and follow up. When needed I defined and created meeting material and presentations. I worked closely together with the rest of Management Support to define meeting structure for the RBDK management board and plan and execute meetings.Retail Banking DK, Danske Bank, has 2.300 employees and is serving Danske Banks 1.6 million personal and 90,000 small business customers in Denmark.

The job as EA to Head of Personal Banking DK was quite similar to my work in Management Support, Retail Banking DK (including staff responsibility), so the description above also covers this period. In July 2018 due to a major organizational change, the head of Personal Banking DK also became responsible for small business customers under a new name Retail Banking DK. A new department, Management Support, should ensure a stronger management support set up.

Examples of assignments as project manager: New branch and teller geographical footprint, Defining and implementing a new service-model, Strategy formulation, New sale and distribution set up for insurance (non-life) in cooperation with TopDanmark, Implementation of Consumer Credit Directive.

The position as Project Manager was in the department of Products and Market which focused on product and business development. Examples of assignments: Project manager for development of a guarantee in Danica Balance during payment. Start-up of a new company, Danica Life, in Ireland and Northern Ireland, develop proposals on the content of legislation for new tax reform to meetings at Finansrådet (branch organization). Project manager for development of group insurance product (solidarisk dødsfaldsdækning).

I was assigned to a project on how corporations make important, non-routine strategic decisions. The aim was, in close cooperation with the participating organizations, to optimize their decision-making processes. My primary responsibilities were to provide the newest relevant theory and assist in formulating the theoretical foundation of the project.
