Djøf is a union who represent more than 80,000 members working and studying within law, business economics, and political and social sciences. As secretary coordinator at University of Southern Denmark, I was responsible for Djøf’s activities and presence. The students’ knowledge about Djøf and the increase in the number of members was thereby my responsibility. Some of my many work assignments were:✓ Sole responsibility for recruiting new members from the University of Southern Denmark in Odense.✓ Presentations for up to 300 students in both danish and english.✓ Strategic planning and marketing of social and professional events for both members and non-members.✓ Negotations of contracts with students, student unions and the university.✓ Relationship management: creating relationships with possible partners, but most importantly maintenance of relationships with current partners.✓ Social media marketing using Facebook and Instagram to connect with members of Djøf.

Bjerggaardshaven is a home for brain injured adults, where one of my most important assignments was to make sure that the residents’ everyday life followed the planned schedules. Besides, my work assignments were personal care, help with smaller problems of the residents and the home in general, taking care of the residents and most importantly to know the residents' needs and differences and thereby have the right approach to each individual.
