As the program manager of the Ancient Environmental Genomics Initiative for Sustainability (AEGIS) research program, I help build a transformative program organization for realizing our vision of using nature’s own solution through millions of years adaptations to changing environments to develop more robust, sustainable, and biodiverse crops and agricultural practices to mitigate the effects of climate change on global food production.
