• Plan and manage development of standard-based curriculum, instruction, and assessment plans and strategies.• Develop semester outlines and instructional plans for each class session to comply with stated course objectives.• Instruct students using lectures, discussions and demonstrations in the following courses: [Management Information Systems, Distributed Database Systems, Electronic Business Strategy, Architecture and Design]• Develop and proctor exams to properly gauge information retention and student performance.• Design and distribute lecture handouts to round out material and increase student understanding.• Conduct research in networks, information security, and information security governance.• Guide students in researching, and doing their final year projects.

• Coordinate and teach computer literacy courses• Conduct Cisco networking curriculum practical sessions.• Development of course material with advice and support from senior staff.• Conducting research and doing students’ consultations.• Develop easy and open rapport with students to encourage engagement and academic progress.• Participate in departmental and faculty meetings and contribute to curriculum review.• Track student assignments, attendance and test scores for progress monitoring and assessment.

• Ensure correct configuration of all hardware and software• Support and ensure stability and smooth operation of computer hardware infrastructure• Ensure smooth operation of communication and network infrastructure• Run backups daily (using Arc serve backup software)• Ensuring that backup tapes are kept in a safe place• Resolving and solving IT and network related problems and challenges.
