I am a global public health and nutrition specialist with extensive experience in program management, policy development, and analytical work across diverse humanitarian and development contexts, including Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Sweden. This enhanced the uptake of Maternal, Newborn, child Health and Nutrition services in the community and improved referral systems in Bartabwa division.Co-ordinated 4 trainings for health workers which enhanced their skills on the child survival and development strategy (CSDS), Infant and Young Child feeding (IYCF), Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI) and nutritional surveillance.Participated in monthly networking meetings/workshops/conferences while representing World Vision. This helped in profiling the organization and the excellent work we were doing to improve the lives of the most vulnerable populations and opening opportunities for partnerships with like-minded organizations and stakeholders.Worked in liaison with other stakeholders in preventing the spread of HIV, by offering life skills education to children and demystifying myths around HIV within the community.
