After a successful business trip in China at 2012 with Chinese Customers, Asigra switched me from QA to a technical support role to serve all Asigra customers including Chinese customers. While working as a technical support engineer, I need to provide a second/third level support for service providesr and their end users using Asigra cloud backup solutions:● Use Microsoft CRM system to assign, update, track all cases for customers● Use Gotomeeting to remote connect to customers' production environment to check product version, activity and event logs, software error messages and OS level error messages, troubleshooting customers' issues such as installation, configuration, networking, database connection, backup/restore function and performance, online storage performance, etc. ● Check customers' settings, configuration and schedules to make sure customer gain best performance for their daily backup, restore and storage usage. ● Provide complete solutions for customers' all issues● Issue a bug and escalate it to Asigra engineering team if a bug is confirmed during troubleshooting● Setup and configure my own test lab to reproduce all customers' issues if possible● Write meeting summary for every gotomeeting session.● Provide knowledge base article for known issues● Write knowledge base article for typical cases Based on apprehensive understanding of Asigra kernel technology, resolved many complicated real cases for customers all around the world. Very good at tuning performances and configure backup/restore parameters on both DS-Client and DS-System storage side. Very good at troubleshooting and provide best solutions for all customers.
