I have over 15 years of working experience as a postdoctoral researcher both in industry and in academia in the UK and in Singapore. Throughout this period, I have been fortunate enough to be exposed to extensive scientific training in pharmacology, cell biology, vascular biology, inflammation and oncology/immuno-oncology and have been actively involved in planning, developing, managing and ultimately operationalizing both academic and pharma-inspired research projects. In my current role in MSD, I have worked with multiple modalities and gained experience in many aspects of drug discovery including target validation, biochemical and cellular assay development, compound screening and lead optimization, design and implementation of MoA studies, project leadership and matrix management within cross-functional teams.
