Chiao-ling Hsu is a seasoned professional in higher education, with over two decades of experience in business education, technology integration, and institutional management. Her career reflects a commitment to adapting to changing educational landscapes and a belief in the transformative power of education. Chiao-ling began her academic journey at New York University (NYU) from 1992 to 1995, where she studied Business Education in Technology. This period provided her with valuable insights into the emerging role of technology in education.Upon returning to Taipei, Taiwan, she joined Taiwan Culture University as an Adjunct Professor in 1997. In 1999, she took on the task of developing the university's e-learning program, which later received accreditation from the Ministry of Education. In 2005, Chiao-ling was appointed as the COO of the school's continuing education sector and later became the CEO of the school foundation. During her tenure, the Continuing Education of the Chinese Culture University achieved national recognition, ranking as the top institution for ten consecutive years. She also played a crucial role in addressing educational needs during the 2008 global financial crisis.In 2015, she joined Ambow, a NYSE-listed company in Beijing, transitioning into the corporate-educational sector. This move broadened her understanding of the business aspects of education and enriched her leadership experience. Most recently, Chiao-ling served as the Interim and later President of the NewSchool of Architecture & Design from 2022-23, where she successfully stabilized the institution. She now holds the position of President at the NewSchool of Architecture & Design.Throughout her career, Chiao-ling has focused on innovative educational practices and integrating technology into learning. Her work continues to be driven by a belief in the power of education to make a positive impact.
