Primary responsibilities include providing structural design and project management services for new construction, rehabilitation, and renovation projects. I’m involved in all phases of a project, from proposal writing and conducting feasibility studies, through to construction administration. I am very experienced with structural modeling using Revit Structure and assist in generating and coordinating structural BIM models for all my BIM projects. Additional duties include condition assessments and structural peer reviews. Current and past projects have been in a wide array of industries including: medical, educational, office, commercial, residential and governmental facilities. I am also the director of IT and provide IT management services, including infrastructure analysis, planning, and execution. One of my primary tasks is to research and integrate engineering software with design workflows. Past IT projects include: server migration to a virtualized environment, engineering software acquisitions, office relocation, custom workstation builds, creating and maintaining the company Wiki site and company e-mail newsletter. Current projects include implementing a new ERP solution and planning the redesign of the company website to integrate with marketing.

Worked as a staff and project engineer on various structural engineering projects, including the design of bridges, buildings, transportation, and public infrastructure. Conducted structural assessments of existing public infrastructure, including the Springfield WWTP.

Assisted a consulting engineer on structural and geotechnical engineering projects. Engineering duties performed included structural analysis, acquiring field data, surveying, commercial and residential design. Projects involved extensive calculations completed using FEM, Excel, and hand calculations.
