About Eric Ling
I am a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering graduate from San Jose State University, and am currently seeking a role as a Mechanical Design Engineer. I have a background in computer-aided design (CAD), finite-element analysis (FEA), engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T), and additive manufacturing through both coursework at San Jose State University and my time leading mechanical design teams in SJSU's American Society of Mechanical Engineers club. Some of these projects include the 3D Printed EM Launcher, Remote-Controlled 3D Printed Tank, and SJSU ASME Human-Powered Vehicle. Additionally, I have some experience in machine vision, laser cutting, and process engineering through an internship I completed after my senior year of my studies. Currently, I am taking courses at Evergreen Valley Community College to refine my CAD and GD&T skills while engaging in projects such as designing an ESP32-based remote-controlled car and assisting EVC's Anthropology department in 3d printing.
