• Research, develop, implement and monitor efficiency of engineering functions. • Guide customers and develop optimal solutions to cater to their business needs.• Oversee customer programs from requirements definition, development, in-service operation and eventual profitable operations.• Provide technical support and solutions on development of new products and services• Support related cost optimization projects

• Responsible for company's growth, building the company's presence, maximizing new business opportunities in Aerospace & MRO Sector.• Connect & expand knowledge within Singapore’s Aerospace & MRO industry• Mapped the market and identify opportunities & income streams based on market knowledge & company capability in Aerospace.• Initial prospecting activities, including attending networking events and independently handling leads through the sales process, client set up and early transactions.• Worked across internal teams to provide tailored solutions for clients, and articulate how our products and services can best solves the challenges they face.• Liaise with the marketing team to create collateral and advice on the best conferences, events, trade shows and brand building activities to create company brand in the sector & maximize leads.

• Review Approved Technical Data to identify technical gaps of implementing the repair.• Lead repair development/ implementation project as IPT (integrated project Team) Lead and work with other customer functions such as Operations, Quality, Purchasing, Planning, PMO (Project Mngt Office) and other engineering teams such as OEM, TDM (Tech data Mngt), Met Lab and Product/ Process and etc.• Manage the design and fabrication of tooling/fixtures/inspection gages by vendors and validate the design and functional capability of these gages required for new repairs, product and process.• Develop new work instructions, routing sheets, data cards, SOPs, record forms, process parameters, repair process and required for the new repair, products & processes.• Conduct FAIRs/ FPA/ MSA/ Production Readiness required for new repairs.• Lead the New Product Introduction / Repair Development Projects for SAESL on Rolls Royce Trent-XWB engine.

• New Product Introduction (NPI / Process Method & Repair Development of GE LM2500 & LM6000 Industrial Aero-derivative Turbine Engine.• Support & lead repair development activities, acquiring of new machines and fully responsible for overseeing product repair from development to industrialization state. Coordinates technical product development and production readiness.• Ensure that supply chain capability is developed in line with NPI needs and that suppliers can deliver equipment / tooling / fixtures on time, to agreed cost, quality and reliability levels.• Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirement, workflow, and layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency using GE 6 Sigma LEAN concept.• Interpret technical repair manual and developing them into work procedures for production repair method & processes.• Confer with manufacturing, planning and design staff concerning product repair design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.• Ensure and maintain the product repair processes are in compliance with Quality specifications and standards, including all aspects of document revision control and local repair document currency.• Define Functional Requirements, create Statement of Work for new process, and prepare Requests for quote and all associated document.• Worked with Repair Engineering and Assembly Area personnel to develop efficient methods for assembly & disassembly of engine sub module.• Responsible to provide technical support, technical service and continuous improvement in the course of operation lean production.• Initiate FMEA’s, Quality and EHS reviews related to new process qualification, tooling and equipment changes and Readiness review.• Identify cost-savings, risks and quality improvement opportunities in new tooling / fixture / process design.

• Provide technical support to the Production Teams engaged in repair / overhaul of CFM / Trent / PW aviation / aerospace engine parts.• Liaise with airlines / customers on the Maintenance activities required to be performed on an engine part.• Issue work instructions for various production cells detailing the scope of work to be performed on an engine part.• Issue non-conformance repair procedure / scope of work to be performed on an engine part that requires rework.• Evaluate OEM repair documents and translating to local technical documents and work instructions for their accomplishment.• Evaluate Service Bulletin (SB), special customer requirements (e.g. Engineering Instruction) and translating to local technical documentations and work instructions for compliance.• Evaluate defective parts for potential serviceability and raise Technical Variance (TV) / Departure Record (DR) documents to OEM (Rolls-Royce / CFMI) for acceptance / repair.• Conduct tests, experiments & produce tool / material equivalency reports for tooling & materials called out in the OEM repair documents which are not available in the local market.• Conduct briefing to the production cells whenever a new repair scheme / product / tooling / fixtures being introduced into the local technical documents.• Liaise with local vendors on the design / fabrication on fixtures & tooling for new product development or continuous improvement project.
