Somethin' Else is a London digital content design company that worked with media owners to convey their content on digital platforms. I worked on potential book apps with Random House, games for Wellcome Collection, and assisted with user-testing for StoryFarm, a software for social media storytelling that was picked up by VH1, for the TV series Hit The Floor.

Asiapac Books is an independent publisher of illustrated books about Chinese and Asian culture. My primary responsibilities included copy-editing, research and content creation. I liaised with writers and illustrators on books that vary from feng shui to business tips. I was also solely in charge of the company’s digital marketing at this point, which included managing the company’s email newsletters, Facebook and Twitter accounts.

At CATALOG Magazine, I wrote fashion and beauty articles/advertorials, conducted interviews, and assisted with fashion spreads and shoots. Was also the designated young'un to experiment with the magazine's Facebook page, which had a following of 20,000 fans then.

Once upon a time, I dabbled in TV production, where I helped out on set of Zero Hero, a children's series that featured a stellar cast, and wrote scripts for Mio TV Guides. On set, I was required to do everything, including familiarising myself with everyone's coffee order, and running through Mustafa at ungodly hours sourcing for costumes. The scripts I wrote featured short summaries of upcoming movies and TV shows, and quirky banter between the two hosts.
