About Linh Mai

"All roads lead to Rome" ... and all his earlier pathways have led Linh to become a dedicated software developer 💻. In 2015, just before graduation, I almost dropped out of HUP - the best University in Vietnam for Pharmacy, because I didn't find my passion for the career of a pharmacist. I must thank my mom for pushing me to complete the degree though, because with that I got admitted to Aalto University and had a chance to move to Finland, where I explored Business & Technology. I started learning programming with Java at Aalto School of Business and launched my first Android application in 2019. The first "beloved child" became popular on Play Store (now 250.000+ installs), which was a huge boost for me. Since then, I kept broadening my tech expertise, expanding into Swift with a similar successful iOS app in 2021. Still, I felt limited and yearned to learn more about the Web by developing new Web apps, notably the AI Writing Correction service launched in June 2023. So far, besides strong experience in Android & iOS development, I have under my belt the key full stack skills: Javascript, Typescript, React, Node.js and Cloud etc. As a lifelong learner, I believe that all the learned knowledge and skills will eventually be connected, as long as I keep working hard on my dreams.🎯 and in September 2023, I took one big step closer to those dreams by joining SSH Communications Security as a software engineer.
