Developing an AI model to detect unstable melt-pool processes in laser metal deposition using a convolutional long short-term memory autoencoder and K-Means clustering.• Objective: Detect unstable conditions (ex. stubbing, dripping, no wire, etc) using melt-pool videos captured by a top-view in situ camera during deposition process. • Libraries: OpenCV, TensorFlow, Keras, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, PyTorch• Solution: Created an autoencoder using 4 ConvLSTM cells and 1 Conv3D cell to compress a sequence of video frames as input and predict a new set of future frames. Detected anomalies in a video by using K-Means clustering on regularity scores which were computed for each frame across time on a video basis.

As the Founder of Hyggeligt Candles in Hanoi, Vietnam, since February 2020, I've been dedicated to building a sustainability-oriented business focused on handcrafted scented candles. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of individuals and their living spaces.
