• Lead, manage, and assist in the development, implementation, and continued use of several proprietary projects: ERCOT Accounting Analysis; GeniUS (TGPNA’s proprietary nomination system); EDI development; Trading Systems software improvements; SoftSmiths (external system integration with TGPNA’s proprietary ETRM system).• Represent Operations in cross-functional power-related projects, spearheading any new registry setup required for Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and similar activities.• Continuously assess existing workflow processes and systems tools and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and precision.• Formulate and implement a settlement processing methodology for TGPNA’s Power business in ERCOT that ensures high efficiency and turnaround time for Back Office/Finance processes, which have been adopted by other departments.• Coordinate with both internal and external auditors regarding departmental procedures and work collaboratively with various departments to meet and enhance compliance and audit standards.• Act as the subject matter expert on different products across various departments on trading software usage• Nominate, monitor, and reconcile up to 1 bcf/d of natural gas activity across various US pipelines, which include but are not limited to: Transco, TETCO, Tennessee, EPNG, MEP, EPGT, NGPL, etc.• Coordinate and schedule power activity including energy, ancillary services, and RECs.• Nominate and monitor ethane activities, relaying issues or concerns to Front Office in a timely manner.

• Managed daily cash positions in the West and mitigated any major losses by providing real-time market information to Forward Curve traders.• Responsible for natural gas scheduling and actualizing activities on various interstate and intrastate natural gas pipelines in the West, Midcontinent, and Canada regions.• Collaborated with various departments to improve business processes and workflows relevant to Gas Control.Pipelines scheduling included, but not limited to: Socal, El Paso, Transwestern, PG&E, Enterprise, Panhandle, GTN, NOVA/TCPL, NIPSCO, MichCon, Boardwalk, MidCon, ANR, Centerpoint, HPL.Cash trading mostly on El Paso, Transwestern, Socal, PG&EAdditional activities: Point lead on trading systems projects (currently leading 5 in-house applications/systems on the business side ); trained and educate new employees/interns; improved current business practices; worked closely with Internal Controller on suggested compliance practices, etc.

• Proposed, implemented, and reviewed new business initiatives and solutions aimed at improving business processes, controls, and decision making.• Liaised with multiple departments to ensure best control practices, to satisfy Sarbanes-Oxley and internal compliance, and to ensure successful enhancement of trading software.• Provided assistance to risk control analysts and to Front Office on risk and P&L assessment.

• Assisted Front Office to model complex trades and assess P&L and risk.• Oversaw the analyses and reporting of risk and P&L to senior management.• Worked in close cooperation with Front Office staff to facilitate the continued growth of the business by providing accurate information on the potential impact of transactions on mark-to-market, value-at-risk, and trading limits in a timely fashion.
