Successfully conducted 4 regional trainings on HSR with almost 100 participants (from 22 states of India). They are medical doctors, researchers, professors in health sciences and key staffs of the 8 State Institutes of Health and Family Welfare through out India. - 3) Supervision of the Training Management Information System (TMIS) team in software development for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India. ITS-supported TMIS platform provides a web-based interface with SQL database for Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) of India and the state authorities to: 1) Plan and manage all kinds of in-service trainings for health staff under NRHM; 2) Rationalise deployment of trained personnel in different health facilities; and 3) Strengthen monitoring of quality of training. The 8 states of India (U.P., M.P., Bihar, Odisha, Haryana, Karnataka, Assam and A.P) have been involved into this TMIS activities.
