I am committed to developing human-centered technology that redesigns healthcare delivery for health equity. For my grandmother bedridden during her Alzheimer's journey. For my parents that look for Chinese-speaking providers to feel heard. For anyone else with unmet needs in the existing healthcare system.Traveling to more than 30 countries and living in places from rural Ghana to urban Shanghai has taught me how to talk to strangers – whether or not I speak their language. At the start of COVID, I connected more than 100 volunteers to deliver 18,000 face shields in 3 weeks. Shortly after, I joined VC-backed healthcare startup Tendo and helped hyper-scale the business from 5 to 100+ people in under 2 years.
