Some of the services that I and my legal professionals (LPs) team are providing at Caron include: • Pre-entry consulting with all impaired LPs needing help and all family or law firms seeking help for a LP • Efficiently assisting the LP through the pre-entry and admissions processes • Assisting the LP throughout treatment in order to assure no disruption of practice • Meeting personally with each LP and facilitating meetings for all LPs on campus • Coordinating with Caron’s Breakthrough and My First Year programs to customize these resources for LPs • Working with the LP and his or her family to achieve a work/life balance and healthy recovery • Communicating (with permission) with LP’s law firm, law school, licensing agency, disciplinary board, and/or state legal assistance program as necessary to return to work • Structuring a relapse prevention plan and a return to work strategy for the unique demands of the LP

I teach evidence and pretrial litigation to law students. Also provide substance abuse education, addiction warning signs, life balance and preventative strategies to deal with addiction to law students.
