Oversaw all R&D efforts for treatment of multiple diseases, entailing obesity (gastric sleeve), diabetes (glucose monitor), and glaucoma (glaucoma drainage implant).Key Accomplishments:● Raised over $20M from public and private means for projects rolled out into startup companies.● Governed all functions of early-stage medical device projects in collaboration with doctors at National University Hospital (NUH) and academia/ research institutes across Singapore for clinical trials and selling to hospitals for use.

Quattro Vascular (“Quattro”) develops next generation percutaneous technologies for the treatment of peripheral and coronary vascular disease. The Company’s novel minimal injury angioplasty therapy is specifically designed for the large, unmet clinical needs in the complex peripheral and coronary artery disease markets. ● Developed new peripheral vascular balloon angioplasty platform for product launch as well as contributed to creation of technical file for FDA 510(k) and CE mark approval.

Successfully directed 3 high-profile medical device projects from conception to clinical release/ manufacturing within 1.5 years for each project, while closing several $1M concept feasibility and design/development phase within defined time.Device projects included vascular access ports, ocular implants, airway management, mitral valves, introducer sheaths endoscopy devices, insulin pumps, glucose monitors.
