Volunteering Developing Program For Rehabilitation UnitGeisinger Health System, Jan 2013 - Mar 201325 Church Street, Wilkes-Barrie, PaBarbara Coyle who is coordinator for volunteering services, asked if I could help them out in the patient activity program at Geisinger Rehabilitation Unit. Objective is to improve patient satisfaction. Assessment is to investigate the adverse health effects and health hazards in the community. In this assessment Geising would like to collaborate social interaction and to support the impatients with diverse activities. A monthly schedule is made out and we are working on 2 days a week on various activities to keep the patients enagaged in wellness. Bingo might be offered on one day,while a book sale might be offered on Thursday. This is a trial and error service, hopefully it will be successful and I can get some assistance from others in the community who are willing to share in this wonderful event for Geisinger.
