About Linnae Hamilton
I am a documentary filmmaker and social entrepreneur.I edited projects for PBS American Masters, MSNBC, Sundance film festival, feature-length documentaries ['Ram Dass Fierce Grace,' Newsweek called it one of the top 5 nonfiction films of 2003] and several seasons at Martha Stewart Living Television for which I received an Emmy nomination.In 2001 I produced and directed an independent documentary telling the story of a primary school at ground zero on the morning of the 9/11 attacks. 'Our School' is held in the 9/11 Memorial & Museum permanent collection.I directed a production crew at Columbia University Engineering School for 12 years, interviewing research faculty and creating streaming features about their work and academic programs. In 2017 I founded Remade in Brooklyn Inc, a nonprofit social enterprise to teach repair skills and inspire sustainable living. Find it on IG @remadeinbrooklyn.
