My introduction to the nonprofit world and philanthropy began at a young age. I organized my first fundraiser at 11 years old: a community art auction to empower children living in extreme poverty in Uganda.In the years since then, my interest in what Kay Sprinkel Grace calls "the process of uncovering shared values" has grown. I love to build relationships with people who want to make a difference in the world around them, and collaborate toward a greater impact.I have worked or volunteered for nonprofits across the U.S. and in several other countries around the globe, and am now the Senior Manager, Development at Envision. Our mission is to improve the quality of life and provides inspiration and opportunity for people who are blind or visually impaired through employment, outreach, rehabilitation, education and research.
