I have a background in the trucking industry coming from a family of truckers and being married to a trucker/terminal manager I have a vast knowledge of the industry. I also have worked on the office end of the trucking industry giving me experience in payroll, purchase and delivery, dispatching and minimal management. In addition to the trucking industry I also have an experienced background in the insurance and professional office industry having worked in the positions from file clerk up to licensed insurance customer service. These jobs have given me experience in using all types of office equipment as well as computer programs. While working at the insurance agency I learned some marketing skills and social networking skills that could be a great asset to the next place I work for.I am currently working for a company that acknowledges my skills, knowledge and experience rather than who I may or may not know. I like working where I am utilized in areas where I have skill, knowledge and experience. I believe in utilizing a person's strengths and setting up for success as opposed to forcing a person to conform to some ideal which ultimately ends in disaster.
