At Snook, I worked on diverse projects ranging from developing the customer journey of a new District Heat provider in the UK, through designing the internal governance process of a newly founded organisation, to organising a 3-day training event for 155 data science students. My role, among other things, involved project management, desk research, user research, analysis, service development, and workshop design and facilitation. I was also Snook's Data Protection Officer and led their company-wide transition to the General Data Protection Regulation.My most memorable project was for a charity where I led the discovery to understand the needs of parents whose children are at risk of, or victims of, child criminal exploitation. Through challenging user research, synthesis, and co-design sessions, my team and I developed a diverse range of service propositions for the charity to take forward to testing.

This position involved being a support to the Snook team in any way needed, flexibility and adaptability were essential. The main tasks involved administration, capacity management, and communications, as well as some bookkeeping. This was a full-time role for 7 months, and part-time for one year during my master's studies.

The Hague, Netherlands

The traineeship primarily involved working with bilateral relations between the Netherlands and Norway. This consisted of various tasks such as reporting on political and economic developments, representing Norway in meetings with the Dutch government or with international organisations, and promoting Norwegian business and culture abroad. The aim of the traineeship was to understand and participate in a wide range of embassy work, which meant I also completed other assignments such as social media work and assisting with multilateral relations, e.g. at the OPCW.

The internship involved to assess and improve the revenues and benefits online self-service for Glasgow City Council, as well as developing an effective and wide spread marketing campaign for the products'​ re-launch. The project produced a marketing strategy report, which I presented to the leadership team of Glasgow City Council's Customer and Business Services.

I worked as a substitute for postal workers who were sick or on holiday in between my studies. My position included sorting and delivering mail and packages on various routes, and occasionally giving initial training to new postal workers. I also spent some time working in the terminal where I was responsible for a variety of tasks, such as preparing mail for transportation and closing the terminal.

I took care of three children, including cooking, driving and some housework. I improved my French language skills simultaneously as working in the native tongue, and gained a DELF B1 diploma.
