Highlights of gained knowledge and skills through training and experience from Fiji Airways are:• Undergoing extensive training ensuring flight safety is paramount followed by delivering quality service and hospitality.• Focusing and tailoring service to ensure customer experience is desired and met.• Adapting customer service and food and beverage due to current pandemic, has further placed importance of safety, hygiene, and sanitation within the service industry.

The different sectors such as rearing, breeder, and hatchery were visited. The broiler was the last sector but was cut out due to second wave of Covid-19. At each sector, the manager guided through the processing of their sector on the first day and the key performance indicators (KPI's) . The rest of the week was spent with the employees to get a more microscopic view of the daily processes and how the KPI's were achieved.

Under the guidance of the Biosecurity Officer, the Veterinarian, and Laboratory Technicians, had hands-on experience with: • Animal diagnostic tests such as Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). • Community outreach to educate on tuberculosis and brucellosis disease in the Tailevu Province.• Blood sample collection from swine for initial ASF surveillance ,and cattle and a cat in a leptospirosis confirmed area. • Observed the slaughter process and the carcass preparation as well as hands-on meat inspection (with meat inspector)of key organs and lymph nodes for tuberculosis positive cattle and collecting the strongly suspected samples. • Collecting liver, spleen, and kidney samples from rats captured from areas in which people who tested for leptospirosis stayed and conducting the diagnostic tests on the collected rat samples. • Frequent visits to apiaries to set-up bee hive strips, place sticky boards for varroa mites, collect previous sample collection set ups and conduct on-site honeybee American Foulbrood tests for surveillance. Assist further investigations through interviewing the apiarists for further insights.• Collection of egg samples from a local layer producer all the way through to sample preparation of yolk and testing for salmonellosis.

• Meticulously evaluated over 5,000 data points within a short deadline.• Promoted product launching of "Coke No Sugar" and "Share a Coke" by customer engagement with the products and receiving feedback.• Achieved daily sales goal with engaging marketing strategies and great customer interactions at private events.• Effectively communicating with promotional winners in ensuring they meet the promotion criteria.• Maintained and enforced strict and up-to-date cleanliness and social distancing policies regarding Covid-19 outbreak to ensure both employee safety and customer satisfaction.
