At Urban Achievers Sport Careers and Leadership Academy, I have the privilege of leading Massachusetts' first sport-centric high school, a transformative educational institution that reimagines the intersection of sport, education, and leadership. At Urban Achievers, we believe sport is not merely an extracurricular activity—it is a dynamic force for intellectual, personal, and professional growth. Our Academy integrates rigorous academic programs, elite athletic training, and a deep commitment to social responsibility, developing scholar-athletes who are prepared to excel in college, in their careers, and life.Through our innovative, multidimensional approach, we cultivate leadership, resilience, and critical thinking, empowering our students to break boundaries both on the court and in the classroom. Urban Achievers is a non-profit child advocacy and educational organization serving as a catalyst for change among families living in historically under-served communities. We are profoundly committed to helping families by becoming a preeminent source of human and social capital. Urban Achievers is intended to raise awareness of, and attention to, poverty and its devastating effects on children development and ability to learn. We aim to deepen citizens understanding of the issues and problems surrounding poverty and empower them to take innovative action to help improve the future prospects of our children and therefore on the nation as a whole.

Epiphany is an independent, tuition-free, middle school for children of economically disadvantaged families from Boston neighborhoods. We admit children of diverse faiths, races, cultures, and cognitive profiles, believing in the Episcopal tradition that we find God in and through each other's presence.
