Participated within a focus group aimed at developing human-genetics-based new-target triaging strategies. • Team-lead responsible for the rapid development of an antibody therapeutic for an autoimmune disease, along with IND-enabling pre-clinical studies • Co-led, with external partners, a cross-functional team to screen and develop small molecule compounds targeting a membrane protein in autoimmune disease, from target validation to lead compound selection. • Managed a team of reports within the Immunology department, consisting of up to 7 Master’s and Ph.D. scientists. Team members responsibilities included: one co-lead on an antibody autoimmune drug development project and co-leads on 3 target-validation projects with a partner company.
