About Lino Palena

Filmmaker, producer, multimedia artist, guerrilla marketing and new media expert, Lino Palena is a researcher of what is written between the lines; he graduates in Modern Literature with a thesis about women in Miyazaki Hayao works, followed by a Master in visual communication at Naba academy. He started as a theater director assistant and as a VJ while since years he's a publicist for the periodic media magazine Tutto Digitale, producer for the Video Sound Art Festival collective and director of either commercial and underground multimedia projects. He has a sense for documentaries and make people speaks about themselves, on this behalf he worked a lot interviewing average people and webstars. His filmography includes documentaries, short movies and countless clips. He's a 4th dan graded kendo fighter, he plays taiko drums and in every field of his life he tries to fit his spirit, mind and heart. In 2013 he established Young Bateleur, an independent arthouse production studio with the aim of developing independent projects. In 2020 he opened with his sister an atelier, studio and space for photo and video serivices and creativity in Milan, Italy named FIORIARTIFICIALI.
