The Dalit Alliance is an advocacy organization established in 2001 for the inclusion of the marginalized communities in the development process. TDA’s focus is to implement and support initiatives of small & new organizations that work to the empowerment, emancipation, enlightenment of the unorganized sections of the society particularly the Dalits, Tribes, Minorities, Nomads, Women and the Most Backward caste communities, with focus on the rights of the women and children. My Responsibilities in TDA were: • Developing strategies for expansion through cooperation & cross-training among NGO’s• Designing detailed training programs and people mobilization strategies • Conducting socio-economic surveys on bonded/child labour in various states • Strategizing bonded/child labor rescue and rehabilitation initiatives • Facilitating negotiations between political parties and minority groups for
