After close to 4 years working in North New Jersey as a full time teacher, I decided to leave the field of education in search of a career in the travel industry. I'm looking to transition my years of experience and skills in people/student management, group leadership and engagement, planning & research, data collection, and overall organization, creativity, and problem solving into a position in travel planning, tourism, study/work abroad, or travel coordination/administration. I have 3 years of experience self planning and researching important details like geography, culuture, transportation, currency, and popular activities for my own trips to destinations like Iceland, England (London), Ireland, Mexico (Cancun), Denmark (Copenhagen), and most recently a 6 week solo back-packing trip to France (Paris), Norway, Amsterdam, Poland, Czech Republic (Prague), Hungary (Budapest), and Croatia. I'm highly passionate and dedicated to the world of travel, often finding myself researching destinations for fun. I have the drive to succeed and grow in the industry and become an important and hard working member of the right team. Lastly, I work well with reading and anticipating the needs of others as well as building and maintaining meaningful relationships with returning, current, and potential customers.
