I work at Terros Health as a trauma-informed LMSW clinician in the Adult Therapeutic Day Treatment Program, also known as LADDER, Life Affirming Dual Diagnosis Education and Recovery. I work with clients one-on-one and in a group setting to provide psychoeducation in mental health and substance use topics and allow clients the room to process their experiences. I work with clients to identify the various coping skills they have used to survive to this point in their lives and work with them to identify ways to do things differently that align with their values and goals. I believe every person has the innate wisdom within themselves to heal. I provide space for clients to feel safe, no matter their backgrounds and previous life experiences, and challenge them to be vulnerable as they engage in the therapeutic process. I have experience with trauma-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, and more.
