Respected Sir,I am Linto Jose davis having more than 18 years of Instrumentation field experience including different GCC countries in reputed companies like Saudi Aramco, Yansab as Instrument Qc Inspector, Qatar Gas & kuwait Oil company (KOC) in maintenance department and in Oman worked for Design division also. During those time period along with technical jobs like calibration, auto tuning etc ; I got good opportunity to collect, record and update different process variable’s Data, Work Order data, Manpower Usage and Consumable Usage Data, Production Data, Equipment Run/Stand by Data etc. using various Microsoft office tools like excel, word, Power Point and got some exposure to SAP software for work order closing as well as Spare parts availability checking in Warehouse. While assisting Senior engineer for daily/weekly/ monthly Report Submission got good working experience in Data Visualization by creating pie chart, bar plot etc. Some Jobs involved Data set filtering/ Data Combining/ Data sorting etc. As a part of plant monitoring, regularly done process variable’s Trend Analysis in order to prevent unexpected trips & shutdowns. Univariate and Multi variate trend graphs were plotted and printed along with alarm and trip set point charts. Over this period I realized the Importance & Capabilities of Data Science and its various applications and it created a keen interest & Aptitude to learn it in future and waited for an Opportunity to do it. During an unfortunate phase of life, I took a positive decision to do Career Transition from Petrochemical field to Data science thinking that my prior experience & insights in Data processing will help me to find a job related to Data science. Finally I enrolled for 6 month training in Certified Data Analyst from ICT academy situated in Inforpark Kochi and successfully completed the training on April-2022. During this training period I acquired many skills like CSV file data loading to python, data pre processing, data analysis, visualisations & Machine Learning and gained working knowledge in Python Programming & Tableau.
