My assignments have included providing CFO services to Boart Longyear, a billion dollar mining services company carved-out from Anglo American by Advent International and Bain Capital. Tatum helped rebuild the corporate finance team as the headquarters was moved from S. Africa to Salt Lake City and we designed new corporate reporting system, enhanced the world-wide consolidation process and then assisted in the completion of an IPO on the Australian Stock exchange. We worked as project manager for the IPO of Southcross Energy Partners, an MLP carved-out from Crosstex by Charlesbank Capital. We prepared the carved-out historical results and completed their S-1 process.We successfully helped a surface coal mining company complete their S-1 process. We worked with lawyers and investment bankers to create the prospectus which included pro formas, MD&A and latest financials.
