As a final year PPE student at the University of Exeter, I am fascinated by contemporary societal structures and how to improve their economic foundations. I excel at modules such as Behavioural Economics, Environmental Economics and Sustainability, Power and Democracy, and Environmental Policy in times of Crisis. I am looking foward to apply my knowledge and skills to real-world challenges and opportunities.I am also committed to developing my leadership and teamwork skills, both academically and professionally. In my second I was elected as the social secretary for the PPE Society, where I was planning and organising inclusive and engaging social events for members, while collaborating closely with the other committee members. As a result of my hard work, I was elected to president in my third year, where I am overseeing the committee and continue to bring benefit to our members. Additionally, I volunteered as a listener for Nightline, where I provided confidential and empathetic support to students in need, and in my second year I chaired the committee, making meaningful decisions impacting the future of the association at Exeter. I currently work as a waiter at HubBox alongside my studies, where I adapt quickly to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and contribute to a smooth operation of the restaurant.I value staying active and involved in my community, and I enjoy participating in various sports and extracurricular activities. I am a member of the Tennis and Sailing Societies, where I have fun and challenge myself, while also making new friends and connections. I am also fluent in German, having lived there for most of my life and studied at Gymnasium Eppendorf in Hamburg, and I have an interest in learning new languages and cultures.
