Building add-ons for EPiServer CMS as well as custom EPiServer implementions for customers.Built most parts of a single page application using .NET Core as the backend and Angular JS 1/Bootstrap/TypeScript for a start up.Frontend tech architect and developer for a new web solution for cinema company NCG (sf.se/sf.no etc.) implementing a multi site/multi market/multi lingual solution using Episerver as the backend and with a SPA frontpage built in AureliaJS.Did solution review and expert service for a larger Episerver CMS build.

Responsible for the technical parts of the EPiServer add-on program including both internally developed add-ons and add-ons developed by third party companies. This includes giving technical advice for implementation but also to make sure the EPiServer platform is flexible enough to be able to extend for common integration scenarios. This work included:- Leading the team that implemented add-ons at Episerver, based in Hanoi, Vietnam.- Working with the Product Owners helping prioritizing the backlog and what integrations to build.- Building the first implementation for Marketing Automation software for Episerver and teaching what this is and how it applies to solutions for lots of internal staff.- Supporting implementations for translation software integrating to Episerver, such as LionBridge and GPI.- Building editorial collaboration software.- Getting a much better understanding of the E-Commerce ecosystem and common integrations.

After a number of years of discussing to rebuild the user interface for Episerver, my team finally started the work for this during 2010. We wanted to build this as a Single Page Application, but this was quite unusual for products at this time. My work included:Leading the frontend development team in Stockholm of around 8-10 developers.Synchronizing with another frontend development team based in Hanoi, Vietnam.Working closely with the UX team getting the UX and requirements defined and also following up user testing for the new platform.Working with the backlog for the implementation for large parts of the project.Working tightly together with the backend development team ensuring that all teams were in sync.Working in a close team with Product Owner and UX Lead to prioritize a combined backlog of business needs, UX requirements and technical requirements.Doing lots of documentation and technical presentations to get feedback, both before and after the release of Episerver 7 (which the initial release was named).Working with implementation of lots of the backbone for the UI, both in .NET and in JavaScript using the Dojo framework.Working together with technical vendors (Moxicode for TinyMCE and Dojo Foundation).Working lots with making the technical foundation generic in order to support more scenarios and implemented support for Episerver Commerce on top of the generic UI infrastructure.This was a major product release that took more than 100 man years to accomplish for both Episerver CMS and Commmerce.

As the Episerver product team grew, the team was split into two and I became the team lead and scrum master for the development team focusing on building the user interface for the Episerver CMS product. This work included:Leading the staff in the daily work.Following development practices and especially the development for the .NET framework.Leading an upgrade of the UI from .NET 1.0 to 2.0 including refactoring to use Master Templates etc.Making sure that the Episerver UI adopted support for Firefox (previously only supported Internet Explorer).Streamlining the UI components in order to be able to maintain these as the product grew.Applying WCAG and ATAG guidelines for both the product UI and base templates.Implementing the XForm form management system.Implementing the first multi lingual support.

Started at Episerver doing my postdoc that was building a license system for the product company Episerver (this was actually still in place when I left Episerver in 2015). Started working as an employee directly after, working about a year as part time consultant and part time product developer. When I joined, Episerver only had two full time developers, so I was responsible for building most of the user interface and sample templates.During the first years at Episerver, except for working with product development for Episerver CMS and maintaining and extending the license system I also all development for two minor products that were built on top of Episerver CMS, EpiStore (a very basic E-Commerce solution) and EpiBooking (Calendar booking solution).
