With over 12 years of experience in fire and emergency medical services, I am a passionate and dedicated Captain at the Corporation of Haldimand County. As a volunteer firefighter and a primary care paramedic, I have contributed to the safety and well-being of the community by responding to various emergencies, providing pre-hospital care, and leading fire suppression and prevention operations. I have also enhanced my skills and knowledge by obtaining multiple certifications from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), including Fire Suppression Incident Safety Officer, Fire Instructor, and Fire Officer. Additionally, I have completed a Community Paramedic program from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, which enables me to provide advanced and holistic care to patients in rural and remote areas. My core competencies include fire science, emergency medical technology, fire-fighting, first aid, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
