Lin is a corporate lawyer based in Reed Smith’s Singapore office. Lin's practice focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital transactions. Lin also represents clients on U.S. and international capital markets transactions, consisting of public and private offerings of equity, equity-linked and debt securities and advises on corporate governance matters.Lin has a wide range of experience advising public and private companies across the technology, infrastructure, energy and resources, financial services, healthcare, real property, hospitality, entertainment and transportation sectors.Lin worked in Hong Kong for a number of years prior to moving to Singapore. Lin’s cross-border experience covers a range of jurisdictions including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the US, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the UK, Bangladesh, Thailand, the Philippines and Cambodia.Prior to joining Reed Smith, Lin worked in the Hong Kong office of Baker & McKenzie where she represented clients on a number of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. Lin is a contributor to the World Bank Group’s annual Doing Business Report (2018), one of its most high-profile publications, from the perspective of minority investor protection in Singapore.
