During my Ph.D. studies at the group of prof. Uri Banin, I lead the research and development of novel semiconductor nanomaterials, responsible for the full cycle from synthesis and doping to implementation in functional colloidal quantum dots-based electronic and optoelectronic devices.In this project I gained substantial experience in colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals chemistry, bottom-up fabrication processes of quantum dots-based electrical devices using numerous microfabrication tools in cleanroom environment, and analyzing data acquired from various materials characterization methods and instruments that I was exposed to, including:a. Hands-on operation of SEM and TEM.b. Processing and analysis of STEM with elemental mapping.c. UV-Vis/NIR optical spectroscopy.d. XPS, XRD and XAFS.e. Electrical device characterizations.

During my M. Sc. and Ph.D. studies, I gained experience as a teaching assistant in various courses at the Hebrew University (both frontal lectures and lab instruction), including: Introduction to Chemistry for chemistry students, and Physical Chemistry Lab for Exact Sciences students.

As a M. Sc. student, I worked at the lab of prof. Roy Shenhar, where I studied the self assembly of block copolymers into periodically nanopatterned films and the intermolecular interaction of oppositely charged polyelectrolytes, gaining experience in a variety of techniques and instruments including Atomic Force Microscopy and QCM-D.
