I am a Senior Annual Fund Ambassador at York University, where I successfully engage with university alumni, fostering positive relationships and securing financial support for academic programs. I am also pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science, with a passion for learning and exploring the intersections of health, technology, and society. My core competencies include team leadership, phone etiquette, and relationship building, which I have developed and demonstrated through various academic and extracurricular activities.As a Student Annual Fund Ambassador, I have contributed to the growth and sustainability of York University's academic excellence and community impact. I have honed my communication and persuasion skills, as well as my ability to handle objections and rejections, by reaching out to alumni and donors via phone and email. I have also enhanced my leadership and collaboration skills, as well as my awareness and support for survivors of sexual violence, by being an Active Bystander Facilitator. In this role, I facilitate workshops on bystander intervention, consent, and campus safety, and often receive positive feedback from fellow peers and mentors. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, and to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the field of biomedical science.
