Liposphere is a young, innovative company active in the biomedical sector. We are developer and manufacturer of AqueousTech, an IP-protected water-based platform technology of unmatched lubricants. AqueousTech forms a durable, robust protective boundary layer on biological and synthetic surfaces, and is capable of resisting high loads and pressures being able to mimic physiological lubrication. It is many times more effective than conventional oil- and hyaluronic-based substances and is biocompatible, safe-to-use and biodegradable. AqueousTech can be applied wherever friction reduction is important, e.g. in eye drops, contact lens fluid, coating of joints and medical devices.

I led proof of concept studies in the orthopedic and ophthalmic fields; developed new hydrogel systems resisting high loads while providing ultralow friction. I managed a team of 4 scientists and student and was responsible for filling new patent applications, designing preclinical studies and in-vitro experiments.
