I am a Java software engineer (and somewhat a system engineer also).I have around 9 years of experience working with JBoss, MySQL and with the help of these softwares and tools I am participating in creating, maintaining and supporting a CRM system (which is also a billing software).My main tasks and responsibilities are:-Reviewing the business specification.-Recommending (and deciding between) solution paths.-Implementing features.-Creating test environments (for QA).-Reviewing other's code.-Mentoring colleagues.-Finding and fixing bugs.-Maintaining the system (version upgrades (Java 8 > Java 11, Gradle 2.11 > Gradle 6.7, JBoss 6.x > 7.x), upgrading version control (Mercurial > Git)).I am working fully remote for a year now, I think it works great (we use Teams and Nextcloud for daily collaboration), but based on my experience feature planning and sometimes mentoring could work better in-person, so I am happy spending some days near Budapest (or elsewhere) monthly.I have absolutly no knowledge with cloud technologies, but I'm allways happy to learn something new.
