I, Lironne Cohen (the practice owner since 2000), trained as a physiotherapist at U.C.T. and have gained experience both in the public and private health sectors in various fields but particularly in musculoskeletal disorders. I also have a keen interest in physiotherapy and counselling associated with breast feeding.Using a whole body approach we treat conditions including but not limited to:-Strains and sprains of muscles ligaments and joint-Sports related injuries-Back and neck pain including sciatica-Work related disorders-Long standing (chronic) problems-Postural problems-Post-operative rehabilitaion (eg after joint replacement)-Stress related problems-Respiratory problems including infections and sinusitis (adult and paediatric)We believe in a multidisciplinary approach to health care, put simply it means that we work closely with GP's, surgeons, diagnostics and other health professionals to ensure the best care for you. All physiotherapists at City Physio are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
