About Lisa Ackerman

I am a Cybersecurity Professional in the WMA with many years of experience working with customers and partners to help solve mission problems. I care most about making a difference and being challenged. As a US Air Force Veteran, I am very concerned about ensuring our warfighters and their teams have the support they need to share information at the right time and the right place and in the most secure manner. As a volunteer, I care very much about ensuring that our communities are prepared for a natural, or man-made, disaster. I volunteer my time as a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) member training and responding as needed. It is my goal to use my cybersecurity experience to support efforts in emergency response. I believe these efforts go hand-in-hand and will be very important in future responses to disasters.
