About Lisa Knutson
I currently serve on the boards of WesBanco (Nasdaq: WSBC), a financial services company with $18 billion of total assets, and BlueAnt Media, a privately held, $230 million revenue content producer, distributor, and channel operator. I have also served on the board of TriHealth, a $2.5 billion revenue, nonprofit integrated health system. I’m a qualified financial expert. My experience includes chairing WesBanco’s Board Audit Committee and serving as CFO for The E.W. Scripps Company (Nasdaq: SSP). Earlier in my career, I was a CPA and a Senior Audit Manager with Arthur Andersen. Since 2005, I’ve been a C-level executive at The E.W. Scripps Company, a $2.3 billion operator of 61 local television stations in 40-plus US markets and 9 national news and entertainment brands. I’m currently the company’s COO, where I lead strategy and operations with full P&L accountability. Under my leadership, Scripps has completed acquisitions totaling almost $4 billion and transformed from a mid-size local television and print media company into one of the nation’s largest local television station operators and a national digital media company that together reach more than 100 million US households. With that reach, we have developed programming that has expanded local and digital viewers’ access to popular professional sports. I’ve signed agreements with the Women’s National Basketball Association for regular Friday night programming and the National Women’s Soccer League for regular Saturday night programming. In addition, I’ve secured home-market National Hockey League broadcasting rights for the 2023 Stanley Cup champions, the Vegas Golden Knights, and two more NHL teams. Before joining Scripps, I held leadership roles with Fifth Third Bank, Arthur Andersen, and PSARA Technologies. I have a BS degree in accountancy from Miami University and recently completed a certificate in cyber risk oversight from the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
