This lead to being promoted to Section Co-Ordinator of retail service and hospitality. This new role allowed me a further insight into the process of maintaining targets and sales, as well as increasing customer service potential. This role has allowed me a better understanding sales of products and maximising sales using various methods of out-posting and cross-selling.I am the Store Chair Representative for the Business Involvement Group, a national organisation within the company to relay the thoughts of our staff to those at head office. This role is very rewarding. I have an in-depth outlook of how the business is run at the national level through conference calls and group meetings. In the past, I have had a significant role in the pay rise proposal within the company by supporting staff members and being knowledgeable about the proposals and, most recently, the understanding of the recently revealed gender pay gap.
